Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Program Opens July 28, 2025: Your Chance to Reunite With Loved Ones Is Here!

As announced earlier this year, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will accept up to 10,000 complete applications under the PGP in 2025. Beginning July 28 and continuing over approximately two weeks, IRCC will begin sending out invitations to apply (ITAs) to eligible sponsors.

But here’s the catch: IRCC is not opening a new interest to sponsor form this year. Instead, they will continue drawing from the pool of submissions made back in 2020. So, if you submitted an interest to sponsor form in 2020 and haven’t been invited yet, now is the time to check your inbox — and your spam or junk folders — very carefully
