Saskatchewan PNP points calculator

In 2026, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) uses a 110-point Assessment Grid. To be eligible for the International Skilled Worker streams (Express Entry or Occupations In-Demand), you must score a minimum of 60 points.

A major shift for 2026 is the Priority Sector System, where 50% of all nominations are reserved for sectors like Healthcare, Agriculture, and Tech, while "Capped Sectors" like Retail and Hospitality face strict intake limits.

Important 2026 Strategy: Priority vs. Capped

Starting in 2026, where you work matters more than your total points.

  • Priority Sectors (Agriculture, Healthcare, Tech, Mining, Manufacturing): * No application windows—you can apply anytime.

    • No 6-month work permit expiry rule.

    • Highly prioritized for invitations even with lower points.

  • Capped Sectors (Retail, Trucking, Hospitality): * You can only apply during 6 specific intake windows per year.

    • You must be in the final 6 months of your work permit to apply.

    • These sectors are capped at 25% of the total provincial nomination quota.
