Alberta PNP points calculator
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) uses a Worker Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Unlike other provinces with fixed monthly draws, Alberta uses a more fluid scoring grid (max 100+ points) and heavily prioritizes candidates already working in the province or those in "priority sectors.

Even with a lower score, you may be invited if you work in a Priority Sector. Alberta conducts targeted draws for these categories, often with significantly lower cut-off scores:
-
Healthcare: Dedicated pathways for doctors, nurses, and aides (Recent cut-off: 45–61).
-
Technology: Through the Accelerated Tech Pathway (Recent cut-off: 63).
-
Skilled Trades: Construction, agriculture, aviation, and manufacturing.
3
Alberta Express Entry Stream
If you have an active Express Entry profile, you do not need to calculate these points manually. Alberta will "find" you in the federal pool if:
-
Your CRS score is at least 300.
-
Your primary occupation supports Alberta's economic diversification.
-
You have stated a strong interest in settling in Alberta.
