BC PNP points calculator

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) uses the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS), a points-based system with a maximum of 200 points.

To be invited, you must first register an Expression of Interest (EOI). Your profile is then ranked against others based on two main categories: Human Capital (120 points) and Economic Factors (80 points).

2026 Strategy: The "Targeted" Draw Advantage

If you are not a "high-scorer" (135+ points), your best path is through Targeted Draws. BC frequently invites candidates with significantly lower scores if they work in priority sectors:

  • Healthcare: Often invited with scores as low as 80–100.

  • Childcare (ECEs): Often invited with scores around 80–90.

  • Construction & Tech: Targeted draws typically range from 100–120, much lower than the "General" draw requirements.
